It was so nice outside a few days ago. In fact so warm that buds started bursting!
I made this last week when it was nice, warm, and sunny outside. And then it turned all cloudy and freezing again. Buds go back into dormancy! Sigh. In three snaps of a finger it turns cold. I was hoping that summer was coming and winter was gone. And then it snowed again -in the middle of April.
Well, on those brief warm days of spring, I made frozen yogurt. It tastes soooo good! And since its frozen yogurt its healthy right?
This frozen yogurt is faintly flavored like maple syrup (my homage to these colder months…) and so creamy! It has hints of yogurt but that flavor isn’t strong at all. 😀
Creamy Maple Frozen Yogurt (NO Machine!!!)
- 2 cups unsweetened greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup condensed milk
- maple syrup as needed
Mix the yogurt and condensed milk together. Taste and add maple syrup as needed.
Pour into a bowl.
Freeze and stir to break up the ice chunks every few hours. It should be done within 8-12 hours.
